The Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS® staff is dedicated to serving our members in a professional, timely manner.
 
To better acquaint you with who we are and what we do, we've compiled a listing of our staff.  The following information will help you determine where to direct inquiries and also introduce you to the friendly faces behind the familiar names.

Chief Executive Officer
In 2000, Rosemary Scardina was named Chief Executive Officer for the Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS®.  As CEO, she is responsible for membership and affiliate communications, facilities management, association budgeting, personnel administration, MLS operations, Government Affairs and Professional Standards.  Prior to joining LVAR, Rosemary served as the chief executive officer for local REALTOR® associations in Illinois and South Carolina.  A graduate of Western Illinois University, Rosemary keeps very active in the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® and the American Society of Association Executives.

Mia Megel, Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer
Mia received her Associates Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Harcum Junior College.  She previously held the position of Regional Controller at a large construction management firm.  Her responsibilities include facilities management, management of the general ledger on a daily basis with monthly and year-end reports presented to the Board of Directors and preparing the annual association budget.
 
Membership dues and quarterly MLS fees are produced by Mia, who also handles accounts payable.  Her keen attention to detail and organizational skills keep the accounting department running at high efficiency.

 Ryan Conrad Director of Government Affairs

Director of Government Affairs
Ryan joined the LVAR team in August of 2005.  As Director of Government Affairs, Ryan is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing a legislative agenda in furtherance of the Association's objectives.  His duties include monitoring and educating Association members on local issues; communicating with local, state, and federal elected officials on issues important to the real estate industry; conducting candidate interviews; developing RPAC fund raising campaigns; managing the key contact system for state and local officials, and coordinating Calls-To-Action.
 
Prior to joining LVAR, Ryan served as the Director of Legislation for a New York State Senator and worked on a number of campaigns at the state and local level.  He received a B.A. in Political Science from East Stroudsburg University and an M.A. in Political Science from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.

Michael Naratil, MLS Director

Director of the MLS
Michael joined the staff in 2004 and brings his knowledge and experience with MLS software to our Association.  He graduated from Kutztown University with a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology.  As  Director of the MLS Michael's responsibilities include staff liaison to the MLS Committee, Instructor of MLS classes, gathering statistical information for the LVAR Market Update, monitoring information on the LVAR MLS site, issuing fines and acting as liaison between the MLS vendor and the membership.  Dating back to his undergraduate years, Michael brings over 10 years of customer service experience to the Association.

Gina Perotti, Membership Administrator

Director Professional Standards & Education
Although she enjoys living in the Lehigh Valley, "Rome is Home" for LVAR's Professional Standards & Education Director, Gina Perotti.  She joined LVAR in July 2000, after moving here from California.  Gina is the person that LVAR members or the public turn to when professional standards issues arise.  She is well versed in the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and schedules Grievance and Professional Standards sessions. 
 
Gina also coordinates Continuing Education sessions for the LVAR membership.  In 2005 she also assumed the role of Sponsorship Liaison.

You will find Suzy answering membership questions, processing new member applications and updating membership information.  She is in charge of the Membership database, handling all new members joining LVAR, New Member Orientation as well as acting as the Point of Entry for the National Association of REALTORS® NRDS database.

Colleen Michael, Technology Director

Director Technology
Colleen is a graduate of the Allentown Business School where she received her LAN Tech Diploma and an Associates Degree in Specialized Technologies.  She came on board in 2001 and quickly took to the task of maintaining LVAR's PCs, Macs, email, servers and works with LVAR's IDX data, monitoring and fining.  Colleen also creates databases for tracking membership information and the LVAR fining system, presentations and flyers for LVAR functions, creates and manages LVAR's multiple websites and collects MLS statistical data for the National Association of REALTORS®.  She also works closely with vendors of MLS software, assisting the  Director of the MLS and answering membership MLS and IDX questions.

 Sharon Adams

Assistant to Chief Operating Officer
Sharon's primary responsibility is posting cash receipts.  She also handles member billing questions, billing and accounts receivable for the Real Estate Weekly, accounts receivable collections, UsLec accounts, and assists the Chief Operating Officer with member billings.  Sharon is the primary contact for the rental of LVAR's meeting facilities, Quorum 1 & 2.

Office Manager
Marsha joined LVAR in 2005 and was promoted to the position of Office Manager in November 2006.  As Office Manager Marsha is responsible for managing the facilities and overseeing the staff.  She also assists the CEO, does accounts payable and is staff liaison to the Special Events Committee.  Marsha brings previous experience in the real estate/mortgage industry with her to LVAR.

The smiling face and pleasant voice at the front desk is Cheryl Graham, Member Services Assistant. Cheryl joined LVAR in December 2006 and quickly became an integral part of the staff.  She is the intial contact for incoming calls and directs members to the appropriate LVAR staff. Cheryl also provides customer service to our membership, assisting them with forms and map orders and account payments.  Some of her responsibilities include maintaining inventory for staff supplies, PAR forms, and processing incoming mail.  Cheryl also assists members with all Supra transactions for display keys, ekeys and lockboxes.

As Sales Director for the Lehigh Valley Real Estate Weekly Kim is responsible for the promotion, marketing and publishing of the Lehigh Valley Real Estate Weekly and Commercial Corner.  In addition to the responsibilities with the Lehigh Valley Real Estate Weekly, she also promotes and facilitates the Sponsor Program for the Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS®.  This four tiered program gives participating affiliates more opportunities to advertise in the Real Estate Weekly and participate in membership function at a reduced total cost.

Melissa Gornick, Art Director

As a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA, Melissa is putting her Bachelor Degree to work as the Graphic Designer for the Lehigh Valley Real Estate Weekly.  Previously Melissa worked for the Lehigh Valley Magazine where she won two prestigious Addy Awards for her custom designs in advertising.  She also works on the Association's marketing ads and invitations to membership functions.

Amanda joined the Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS® in May 2006.  She graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication design.
 
Amanda's responsibilities include the Weekly's ad layout and design, managing the New on the Market and Open House ads and designing LVAR advertising and promotional pieces.  She also assists the Director of Advertising in creating and maintaining Media Kits for the LVAR Sponsorship program.
