LVAR - Professionalism in Real Estate

Numerous ethical issues affect the parties and the licensees in even the simplest real estate transaction. In dealing with a more educated consumer who has access to a greater amount of information, it is even more critical that licensees create value by holding themselves to a high standard of ethical and professional behavior. This course will provide a framework for ethical decision-making that will protect and serve the public, and reflect positively on the professionalism of the agent and the real estate industry.

This Course is accepted as NAR Mandatory Ethics Course

This course will prepare you to:

Describe the relationship between ethics, the protection of the consumer and professionalism in the industry
Describe the difference between values, principles, and ethics
Differentiate between various ethical systems
Identify the principles of ethical decision making and describe a decision-making model
Explain concepts of business ethics as defined in the NAR Code of Ethics
