MEETS WITH LVAR GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
County Executive Stoffa (center) discusses with the Government Affairs Committee important issues impacting Northampton County
The LVAR Government Affairs Committee (GAC) is continuing to work on establishing an open dialogue and building strong relationships with elected officials across the Lehigh Valley.
This month’s Roundtable Series featured John Stoffa (D), Northampton County Executive. County Executive Stoffa discussed a number of issues facing the County, including the possibility of a countywide reassessment, dealing with the overcrowded prison, and keeping taxes down for 2008. He welcomed the invitation to participate in the Roundtable series and encouraged REALTORS® to be a part of the public policy dialogue by attending County Council meetings and meeting with county officials as often as possible. Mr. Stoffa has been serving as Northampton County Executive since 2006 and has a long history of public service.
